Loss of hair, boldness and premature white hair
Hepatitis patients suffer from an overheat in 
the heart, liver and large intestine which cause the loss of water in the kidney. That is what the traditional Chinese medicine terms as the "dysfunction of the kidneys."
By kidney dysfunction, it refers to a series of signs of the weakness of the kidneys. The patient may suffer from backache, weakness in the legs, tinnitus, giddiness, loss of hair gloss, the loosening of teeth, dribbling urination, dysfunction (failure of erection, spermatorrhea, etc.). The weakness of the kidneys usually is attributed to endocrine diseases, immunity-related diseases or infirmities of age.
In the theory of the traditional Chinese medicine, the vital energy of the kidney is responsible for the sense of hearing and the growth of hair and teeth. So loss of much hair, boldness and immature white hair are often found among chronic hepatitis patients, especially in infants suffering from chronic viral hepatitis caused by the infection of hepatophilic virus. Patients of this category often also suffer from secondary obesity (that is hepatic dropsy) and among youth and middle-aged men, boldness and immature white hair. All are indications of the disorder of the sexual functions.
